The Gallery at River Tree-a new group of artists and artisans under the name River Tree Arts-announces its first two-day fine art and craft show, to be held in Lower Village, Kennebunk, this coming weekend, June 16-17. The event is held from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday evening, participants can shop, meet the artists and enjoy refreshments during the Gallery reception. Also, on Saturday, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, artisans will be showcasing a wide range of fine art and crafts. Admission is free and the proceeds will benefit River Tree Arts. Girls Night Out-held on Wednesday night, June 21st, at Duffy's Tavern And Grille in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Join the Southern Maine Health Care(SMHC) Auxiliary at Girls Night Out! It's the 7th annual event from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Come join the laughter. Bring your friends and family. At 5:30 pm is Hors d'oeuvres and dessert, silent auction, and cash bar. An Evening with William Martin-on Thursday night, June 29th, from 5:30 pm - 7 pm, at the Kennebunk River Club, on Ocean Ave, Kennebunkport, Maine. Come and meet best-selling author, William Martin. Mr. Martin has numerous literary accomplishments in the realm of historical novels including, The Lost Constitution, Citizen Washington, Back Bay, and The Lincoln Letter.
