Summerfest 2016

The King's Port Inn hopes everybody is having a happy summer! We hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather and spending time with family and friends. The weather is fantastic and this is the best time to visit Maine.
The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust is hosting a very special event called "Summerfest 2016", on Sunday, August 21st.  It is a family festival that has something for everybody.  They will have barefoot dancing with our local band, the Lower Village People, they will have trail races of every length, a human foos ball tournament, food trucks, beer tents, kids activities, lawn games, craft vendors and much, much, more!
Trail Races: The trail races are your choice of 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon, and marathon runs. All taking place on the extensive trail system in the many acres of the land conservatory. There will be water and refreshments after the race.
Human Foosball: Each team has six players with five on the field and one in the goal. Just like the table version of foosball, the "players" are in a line formation and can only move from left to right; each holding on to pvc piping that runs along rope. Registration is $25 per team and all proceeds go to support the Trust's educational programs.
Admission to the festival is $10 per adult, $5 per child, or $35 for a family pass. The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust is located at 57 Gravelly Brook Road(Off Stone Road), Kennebunkport, Maine. You can call 207-967-3465 for more information.
