Village Art Walk

The King's Port Inn, located in just minutes from downtown Kennebunkport, would like to remind our guests of a wonderful local event here in Kennebunkport. It is called the "Village Art Walk" which is coordinated by the Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce. It is a popular monthly event that starts every June.
The Art Walk is a free self-guided walking tour of all art and studio galleries located in Kennebunk's Lower Village and Kennebunkport's Dock Square. It is held on the second Friday of every month from 5 to 7pm. The admission is free and it is open to the public. The Village Art Walk is made possible by the generous donations of many local businesses. A list of some of the participating galleries include:
1. Sue Rioux Designs, located at 180 Port Road, is a working studio and gallery creating limited edition kaleidoscopes.
2. River Tree Arts, located at 35 Western Ave., is the oldest nonprofit community arts center.
3. The Sharpe Galler, located at 21 Western Ave., is an art gallery with emphasis on abstract and impressionist works.
4. Deborah Randall Fine Art, located at 8 Western Ave, specializes in original landscape paintings of Maine.
5. True North Gallery, located 27 Dock Square, represents both local and nationally acclaimed artists.
6. Mast Cove Galleries, located 1 Mast Cove Lane, is a group gallery that features 76 local artists.
7. The Landmark Gallery, located 31 Ocean Ave., specializes in original, one-of-a-kind marine subjects, along with landscapes and florals.
